Claude Bolling’s Cello Suite is a cheerful work for Jazz Trio and Cello, bridging the often stumbled upon gap between classical performance tradition and the Jazz world. The piece follows in the traditions of the Third-Stream composition style, where fusion composers like Nikolai Kapustin and George Gershwin blend the sounds of Jazz into the classical canon.
