Founded in 2019, Fidelio is a café and cultural venue dedicated to presenting classical music in unconventional and accessible ways. Located in Clerkenwell, London, the space was conceived as an informal meeting point where high-quality musical performances can coexist with the relaxed atmosphere of a café. By day, Fidelio operates as a neighbourhood café serving coffee, brunch, and lunch, while in the evening it transforms into an intimate concert venue hosting chamber music performances, accompanied by dinner or drinks. The project aims to recreate the spirit of nineteenth-century artistic salons, bringing audiences and performers into close contact within a convivial setting.

vienna salon
With its high ceilings, natural light, and warm European décor, the Vienna Salon is the venue’s main communal space, designed to foster a strong sense of community. An open-plan kitchen and serving counter sit at the centre of the room. During the day, guests can stop by for breakfast, coffee, or lunch, while in the evening the space hosts live music events, including chamber performances on Tuesdays and jazz evenings on Wednesdays.
berlin lounge
Located downstairs from the Vienna Salon, the Berlin Lounge offers a more intimate setting for up to 25 seated guests. Its retro, early twentieth-century inspired décor and warm lighting create a cosy atmosphere, ideal for small performances or private gatherings. The space hosts regular Monday evening events, including the popular Django at the Cafe gypsy jazz nights, as well as occasional cabaret performances.
