Hear Rachmaninov’s much celebrated two trios in one single evening performed by the north-London-based London Brahms Trio. Both these works were written before the turn of the century, when Rachmaninov was still a broadly unknown composer and wanted to pay tribute to his mentor Tchaikovsky. Late romanticism and soaring melodies abound, making these trios timeless hits for all ears and hearts.
